Motion has always had one goal in mind; to move you through his music.
Growing up in Chicago, he was raised to appreciate a wide variety of musical influences, from legends like Stevie Wonder, Prince, and Michael Jackson, to old school rock bands such as The Police. He began his music creating journey in his freshman year of high school, passing out burned CDs of his mixtapes in the halls between classes.
In May of 2020, he released his first full album, titled “SOULWAVE”; a soulful mix of R&B, Soul, Blues, Funk, EDM, and Synthwave genres. The album creates a vivid universe through sound, taking the listener on a journey of discovery, love, self-doubt, and enlightenment. The sequel, “Summer Canvas” was released just a few months after, exploring the joys of freedom from toxic relationships, living in the moment, and being content, with sound influences from Neo-Soul, Pop, Funk, and Latin genres.
In early 2023, he released a new album titled “Drink Alone”, refining his voice and sound more than ever before. From soulful ballads such as “Intent” and “What I Needed”, to bangers like “LA Girls”, and his Reggaeton track “Fever”, he continues to show his versatility.
