Mousemat is a three piece alt-rock / pop punk band formed in 2018. Consisting of Mauro (vocals/guitars/programming), Steve (vocals/guitars/programming) and Antonio (drums).

They've known each other since 2003, playing with different local bands (like Dna71, The Coolaid, Distilla Dozer) for several years.
In 2018 they finally started writing music together and considering they're living in different cities, they decided to entirely manage the project online.

The first song they wrote, "Again", has also been the first song to be released digitally, in October 2018, followed by a second single called "Wasted Heaven" 3 weeks later.

Their debut album "Let's Drive Away" dropped on March 1st, 2019 and featured the collaboration by Zene Smith, lead singer of the US rock band Fight The Fade, and Laura Hope, a singer/songwriter from Canada. Other collaborations on the album are Bradly Miranda (who managed Mike Herrera's studio "Monkey Trench Studio") and Level None.

The album has been self-produced by the band with their friend Sam (who co-wrote and sang on some of the lyrics), mixed by Mauro Daccico and mastered by Matthew Wolk (who mastered for artists like Amber Pacific and MxPx as well).

The future goals of the trio are to collaborate with as many people as possible, maybe discovering other interesting artists, having fun and trying to make the world a better place with their music.
