Mouserocket are the latest group effort featuring <a href="spotify:artist:2e77VvjsK946qa5t7atfoy">Big Ass Truck</a> guitarist Robby Grant. The group is self-described "cello-pop with face-melter noise interludes." With smart, moody guitar riffs, often eerie vocals, and a unique blend of distorted guitars and classic cello, Mouserocket are indeed one of a kind -- unique yet accessible. The quintet features Memphis music powerhouse Alicja Trout (<a href="spotify:artist:19MNF0TUercueIIxCeQyHa">the Lost Sounds</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6rdtKQdKRn2xAOcVnSUZc9">River City Tanlines</a>, and many more) on guitar and part-time vocals, Hemant Gupta on bass, drummer Robert Barnett (also of <a href="spotify:artist:2e77VvjsK946qa5t7atfoy">Big Ass Truck</a>), and cellist Jonathan Kirkscey (Memphis Symphony Orchestra).
