Currently Melbourne-based, Mr. Alford has a long rap sheet – from time spent cutting his teeth in Nashville bars, to collaborating with members of the Carter family, to the Malaysian Symphony Orchestra, his diverse experience explains his ability to enrapture any audience, come for the music and stay for the banter. With 5 albums currently under his belt and the 6th on the way, his songs cover many themes and reflect his vast experience on the road, with a sound steeped in all aspects and eras of folk country music and traditional to modern bluegrass.
