Mr. Big Mouth (Dan Mason-Kyle) is a Bristol based DJ and Music Producer. He plays and produces a mix of Breakbeat, Glitch Funk, EDM, Drum and Bass, Hip Hop and Rap music.
He was one of two founders of the Manchester based Hip Hop night, Taste the Diff’rence. A night that brought great artists like Souls of Mischief, DJ Format, Akil, DJ Vadim to the streets of Manchester. Following the success of this night, Mr. Big Mouth played at a number of festivals nationally and internationally.
Mr. Big Mouth became the touring DJ for Surreal Knowledge, a trio of MCs who were described by Mix Mag as “the Beastie Boys of Manchester”. They took part in Live and Unsigned and came in the top 10 out of over 10,000 acts.
Since then, Mr. Big Mouth has been focusing on his music production, building his own style, which is a mix of Breakbeat, Glitch Hop, Funk, Rap and Turntablism. In 2021, he has had 6 tracks (4 originals and 2 remixes) released on Toast and Jam Recordings, a global Breakbeat label based in San Francisco.
