Mr Brown – Moshomo
After years crafting hits for others, Mr Brown steps out on his own with the release of his single Uthando Lwami. The love song features Zanda Zakuza and Makhadzi. Mr Brown touts it as a song of appreciation for the love and support he has enjoyed over the years from fans and music lovers. He also takes stock of how far he has come in the journey of making music.
Today he has worked with Akon,Neyo,|Eddy Kenzo,Dimitri Vegas Bongo Beats, ZandaZakuza, Soul Kulture, Mojalefa Thebe and as co-prouducer of Master KG’s massive hits Skeleton Move featuring Zanda Zakuza and Waya Waya featuring Team Mosha. He also appeared as producer and vocalist on Makhadzi’s hit Murahu. Before seeing his name up in lights and setting the dancefloors on fire, Mr Brown had to overcome great challenges that life threw his way. At some point he lived in a garage in Marabastad, Pretoria while working at a market. And then moved out to the Schubert Park building which was shut down because it was unsafe for human habitation. He played the guitar at a beauty salon for meals and eventually became a dreadlocks specialist at the same place.
