Nigerian American producer Mr Anya discovered his love for music at an early age when he began playing the piano. This love continued growing with him leading the choir in high school and organizing concerts that blended Nigerian classics and contemporary sounds. It culminated in teaching himself the ins and outs of music production and starting a record label that incorporates different genres of music and creates a space for underrepresented artists.
His sound is influenced by the drums of Afrobeat, the lyrical precision of rap, the fluidity of hip hop and the sensuality of RnB. In his debut EP, he featured upcoming artists including, his sister Gogowé with whom he often writes songs. He is looking forward to sharing his passion for music by collaborating with diverse artists and expanding his label.
