MrMagic, a “Neosoul-hippie” as referred to by his friends and family, is a true ambassador of R&B . The son of two ministers, Kenneth and Donna Meredith, MrMagic was born David Gamble on September 2, 1986 in Atlanta Ga. After displaying his vocal ability at a young age, he began singing at age 6 with the Atlanta Boy Choir. He sang with rock bands all throughout high school. After graduating from high school in 2005, he began to do vocals with Jazz bands and lounge music groups. After finding difficulty coping with his newfound life of music, partying, and excess, he prayed and meditated and eventually made the decision to abandon the Atlanta jazz game in 2007 to become a chef. After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu Collage of Culinary Arts, he began to work in restaurants across Atlanta. Presently, he is re-pursuing his dream and putting his profession on the back burner. He is a poet, creative writer, vocalist and father with an eclectic amount of influence; from classic rock to vintage R&B; from new school R&B to vocal choral music. He is currently the lead singer for Atlanta based rock band GREY SUNDAY. His ultimate goal is to show the power of having love in your life and understanding that God is love. He believes that love is important and strong and has the ability to change you for the better.
