Ms Isis

Ms Isis is a self taught music producer and vocalist. She began singing in Port Elizabeth in the early 2000s; relocated to Pretoria. She got her first break scoring a jingle with Take 5 on SABC One, the youth educational program, and released her work, "The EP", in 2011.

Since then she has been involved in the creation for soundtrack of "Freedom is Not Free", a South African TV production about the after effects of 1976 and she has performed at well known establishments in out of JHB and Pretoria such as, The State Theater, The JHB Cooking School, Kitcheners, and more.

Her single, with SculpturedMusic titled "Only" did very well after its release getting great responses from industry heavyweights like South Africas own DJ Fresh and Christos. While being a wife and a mother of three, she balances her work while playing and she is consistently always working on something new¬!

She has featured on magazines such as BPM Magazine, Forbes Women Africa and HYPE Magazine and has made appearances on eTv, Soweto Tv and SABC's Brothers and Sisters with Soul.

Her plans for 2023 is to release another EP and a few beat tapes along the way. Saueri Chomothi's work is a fuse of dug up loops, chopped up samples and some flair to produce very sweet melodies. She is influenced by old school classics, hip hop, dub, nusoul and her music has shifted from hip hop to experimental.
