MT Desolation is the country-inspired side project of <a href="spotify:artist:53A0W3U0s8diEn9RhXQhVz" data-name="Keane">Keane</a>'s Tim Rice Oxley and Jesse Quin.
Enlisting the help of Jess Stavely-Taylor of <a href="spotify:artist:5G49Sq5mMzAkGL4ZP6eVPY" data-name="The Staves">The Staves</a> for additional vocals on lead single <a href="spotify:album:5ihoUXzWg1ZyjZmejMswby" data-name="Sunrise">Sunrise</a>, Mt Desolation have a history of rounding up close friends in their creative process.
With several great musicians coming along for the ride, including Ronnie Vannucci Jr. of <a href="spotify:artist:0C0XlULifJtAgn6ZNCW2eu" data-name="The Killers">The Killers</a>, Tom Hobden of <a href="spotify:artist:0aeLcja6hKzb7Uz2ou7ulP" data-name="Noah And The Whale">Noah And The Whale</a>, and Country Winston of <a href="spotify:artist:3gd8FJtBJtkRxdfbTu19U2" data-name="Mumford & Sons">Mumford & Sons</a>, Mt. Desolation has become some what of a collaborative hub with these exquisite players who have an innate ability to add the light and shade to initial song structures provided by Tim and Jesse.

Desolation</a>, was released by Island Records in 2010 and followed up by sophomore album <a href="spotify:album:2y4OD6Sv90jBpwrUJZ5SNh" data-name="When The Night Calls">When The Night Calls</a> in 2018. Now back with an armoury of new material, 2023 looks to be an exciting year for Mt.Desolation.
