MUFFLON | stoner rock
Rough and stony. Just like their counterparts in the wild, this
four-piece band feels at home in such terrain, at least musically. True to the stoner rock genre, MUFFLON come with downtuned guitars and a solid foundation of bass and drums, without strictly adhering to the genre's boundaries.
Originally founded in 2018, after a lineup change and under a new name, they began writing their own songs. In the summer of 2025, they were finally able to present a set at various gigs that reflects the band's character.
Powerful rock from overdriven tube amps. Sometimes straightforward and pragmatic.
Sometimes with building, escalating sections that indulge their love of guitar riffs without getting lost in the details. The enthusiasm for the genre's powerful, distorted sound is at the forefront of all their songs.
The band from the Andernach area jokingly calls their first demo "Songs from the Herd" and will present (for now) four live-recorded songs at the end of the year.
The goal is clear. MUFFLON want to expand their territory, want more space, more gigs.
