In 2018, two university friends passionate about the world of visual arts, Gökalp Çolak and Burak Uşak, brought Munchiefs to life. Both were pursuing studies in the fine arts department's painting division when they took their first steps into the enchanting realm of music, focusing on the electronic dance music (EDM) genre. They brought concepts like composition, contrast, and visual impact from the world of painting into their music, much like chefs selecting ingredients for a new dish and harmoniously blending them.
