Murat Evgin is a singer-songwriter and film composer from Istanbul. Influenced by The Beatles, Elvis and Turkish Folk , Anatolian Psychedelic Music of 60’s and 70’s he also produced and sang traditional Turkish songs (türkü) with authentic Turkish instruments blended in Rock sound.

As one of the first independent artist of Türkiye, his songs like Şehit, Özledim, İlk Tek Son Aşkımsın, Beni Ellere Verdin were discovered by the young generation through prime time Turkish TV Series years after their release.

He has composed music for over 2000 episodes of tv series as well as factual series like The Stuarts (Yesterday TV) , İyi ki Yapmışım/I’m Glad I did (Netflix) , Caniko/Sweetie (Netflix)
