Murkinbone

Murkinbone, a 4-piece band from Amsterdam, brings a unique blend of indie rock, alternative, folk music, brit pop and country to the table.


Their first EP, released in August 2020, features a mix of upbeat, guitar-driven tracks and more introspective, acoustic-based songs, showcasing the band's versatility and range. The lyrics are relatable, honest and display sense of humour, capturing the struggles and triumphs of everyday life in a way that resonates with listeners.


Musical influences come from the late 70's and 80’s with acts like Televison Personalities, The Clash and A-ha, sprinkled with some Johnny Cash and a dash of Britpop.


Murkinbone started as a drum-machine and 3 guys that share a history at Cirque du Soleil. The addition of live drums in 2019 added a new level of energy, both in the songs as well as in their live shows.
