Music Dragon® was founded by percussionist, singer-songwriter Donnie Smith in the year 2000 for his original music. Since inception been Jammin Venues, Clubs, benefit shows, Bike Runs and Private Parties! Musicians that have Blazed the stage: Lou & Paul DeSouza, Bob Massey, Nelson Silveira & Mark Shadrick.
Donnie is a Proud American from Niagara Falls, NY. Attended (Gibbs) Pinellas County Center for the Arts in St. Petersburg Florida. (1986-1988) Majoring in Percussion, Keyboard and Theory. Soon after school joined the band Halifax and shared a warehouse with (Savatage / Trans Siberian Orchestra) Studied vocal lessons with Al Koehn for 5+ years. Worked with artists such as Midnight of Crimson Glory and Matt Kramer of Saigon Kick.
