Thomas Matthew Sierra is a 30-year-old multi-instrumentalist, producer, and audio engineer based in Austin, Texas. With 16 years of hands-on experience, he has independently written, performed, recorded, mixed, and mastered a deeply personal and stylistically diverse body of work under his project Mutant Rockstar.
He released his debut album, For That Brighter Tomorrow, in 2014 at age 19, followed by No Right, No Wrong in 2022, a project that sharpened his signature blend of raw emotion and layered production. His latest release, Mutant Rockstar (June 27, 2025), is his most focused and technically evolved album to date. He is also the creator of Lounge Sessions, a series of instrumental projects that explore textural and sync-forward sound design.
Sierra’s production style is rooted in complete creative control—handling every instrument, arrangement, and mix himself, from early demos through final master. His work is defined by clarity, tone, emotional impact, and an ear for detail shaped by years of dedicated independent output. He continues to collaborate selectively with other artists across genres while expanding his catalog as both a solo artist and producer.
