Mute is the solo project of UK songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Ross Martin — ex-Absent Elk and session musician collaborator to numerous multi-platinum artists.
After crafting hundreds of songs with others — on stages, in studios, and in the shadows — Ross found his opinion of his own voice was the one thing holding him back from a solo project.
So he silenced it.
He now writes, performs and produces every track entirely alone… then mutes his own vocal, after inviting voices from across the world to take its place.
