Hailing from the city Sundsvall in the cold and northern part Sweden, The City that founded known bands such as Soreption, My Own Grave, The Kristet Utseende, Gluttony and many more. Muteny delivers relentless Blackened Thrash Metal and has quickly established itself as one of the most dedicated bands in the new wave of Swedish extreme music. After several lineup changes and a shift from Melodic Thrash to relentless Blackened Thrash Metal, the band released their debut demo Primal Warfare on April 18, 2025. The release was met with critical praise for its raw atmosphere, unrelenting speed, and dark melody.

Muteny’s sound combines piercing guitars, relentless drums, and deep, cutting screams from the Extreme Thrash Metal scene with inspirations from the dark melodic side of the Swedish Black Metal scene.
