Muzik 4 machines is a techno project from Quebec, Canada. Performing Live with hardware sequencers and synthesizers, he creates a plethora of textures ranging from electro to drum and bass, always with the same minimalist modus operandi; Distorted analog and punchy sampled drums, a few monophonic tracks, lots of effects and constant sonic mangling and tweaking.
It all began in 1991 with a Portastudio, a guitar and a TR-707 drum machine; early compositions were a mix between early house and grunge music, mixing the 4 on the floor rhythm with loud fuzz guitar. As the technology evolved, so did the Project; recruiting new performers and building new gadgets and sound mangling devices.
Taking a break in the early 2000's to form <a href="spotify:artist:1qylnOBuXHmejDfxNsLW5v" data-name="Cobaye Molotov">Cobaye Molotov</a> and do some live shows, he returned to live techno music in 2007.
Starting in 2015 the electro output started to lower so TB created <a href="spotify:artist:4V12bDmuQuE89nHP2hDPOl" data-name="The MILFShakers">The MILFShakers</a> (later renamed @bongcopter) to beat some guitars with fuzz pedals and <a href="spotify:artist:5XDnxeSSAEKODrbD0z8UQz" data-name="Quiet Apocalypse">Quiet Apocalypse</a> to drone endlessly
