Mwende

Hailing from the Kenya, Mwende is an up and coming artist with a penchant for writing infectious music and relatable narratives. Inspired greatly by her mother, the artist embarked on his music journey in 2020 right after graduating high school in 2019. When she discovered the magic of music and how it can influence people, everything changed as it sparked a burning passion for her to pursue a career as a performer. Being an avid storyteller, Mwende is greatly influenced by real life, drawing inspiration for her music from personal experiences and hardships, allowing her to invoke strong emotions in people. Apart from invoking emotions, Mwende also seems to have a unique innate competency to ingeniously present music in multiple styles including Hip Hop, Afro pop, Bongo, Afro beats, and Amapiano, all while maintaining a consistent brand, one of the factors that make this artist one to keep an eye out for. Being multi-lingual, Mwende’s music also implements a multitude of languages including her tribal language Kamba, Swahili, and English.

Even though Mwende only started out her journey as a Rapper not too long ago, the multi-talented individual has already managed to slowly amass a small but loyal following. Having been through a series of tribulations since, Mwende is determined to keep on pushing, striving towards greater heights.
