“Mwk” is MCD with KON
Starting in 2015 was the YouTube channel featuring Dylan (MCD) and Ahad (KON) with skits and freestyles; that led to the first album. Working on a new release every three months for the first 2.5 years. In 2019 beginning with “Do Not Disturb” Every song was self produced (unless credited) not to mention never has the music been touched by anyone else. What you see is what you get.
We want to make music for the people who feel left out or weak. We’ve been there but we have always persevered. We also know how to have fun. Theres been their fair share of troubles being best friends for over a decade - You become brothers and thats the driving force behind the duo. Natural chemistry and the ability to turn the beat on and freestyle a whole song when there was a time when writers block discouraged us to the point of wanting to quit.
In these last two years, Dylan (MCD) and Ahad (KON) both graduated high school and devote as much time to perfecting each song as possible. With the latest release of “Scrambled” September 30th 2021 we set on to release our Self Titled album thats been two years in the making in itself. - Its something to be excited about for us, and hopefully the people who listen.
Its all in due time before the world knows exactly who we are - Mwk
