“hello. my body is killing me from a brain disease called multiple sclerosis. i am making music in case i wake up one day unable to function. because of the nature of the disease, it can be any moment. it comes in waves and i’m sometimes able to regain function. this is when i write as much music as i can. i wouldn't wish this on anybody. thanks for listening. - it's my dream that all those here from my ambient songs, may consider checking out my 'nothing is real' album series. it is much better than the ambient songs IMO.

Bio:
my head is empty was diagnosed with MS in 2021, a brain disease that slowly kills them. At this time they've released 99 albums amassing over 800 songs. Pushing thru this disease and learning to play their instruments again, they continue to publish music independently. MHIE music plays in shows on VICELAND, Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed (Apple TV), TERRIFIER 3 (film), eHero with Sean Astin (film), an Adidas documentary, and as the soundtrack for the video game Monsters: Trouble In Paradise, by Q-Games.
MHIE's diverse discography spans many genres and styles. Typical production includes played strings, synthesizers, a hefty physical collection of world percussion, and home-made instruments. Bridging the gap between live instrumentation and computed sequencing, the line between digital and analog is blurred.
