If one’s idea of a gig includes any of these: loads of pure energy, fists in the air, screaming, moshing, crazy dancing, intense pulsating heat; well then, My Precious will deliver just that. Perhaps, even more. Plus, wouldn’t it be rude to ignore two screaming female vocalists?

Formed in Singapore in the year 2001, balancing on the fine line between the local underground music scene and mainstream music scene, My Precious provides an edgy yet colourful flavour to the increasingly accepting local audience. It is hard to really say what their sound is really like. As a band, they enjoy a wide range of music; anything from classical to hardcore to punk rock to electronic and the list goes on! People have described their sound as thrashcore, emocore, screamo, emo violence, dance-core, metalcore, etc.

Amusingly, My Precious calls their sound “no-core” as they feel that they don't exactly fit into any of the above genres. They feel that their sound is distinct as a result of experiments done simply out of passion for fast / melodic songs with a punch.
