Myn:Zai

Artist and Producer from Southampton UK.

Jason Bartlett alias Myn:Zai originally entered into the world of music playing electric guitar as his first instrument. As time moved on and music tastes began to change, a new found inspiration for Hip-Hop was born through the craft of crate digging, finding records, sampling and recreating. With the introduction of synthesizers and developing sound design techniques, a new more original sound began to take shape incorporating manipulated samples with played instruments.

The name Myn:Zai (pronounced "Minds Eye") was finalised in 2023 in the lead up to releasing his debut album "Panacea."
Released on the 26th January 2024, Panacea demonstrates a fusion of Electronic Music genres, combining fast energetic House driven tunes with laid back reflective Downtempo style beats that take you on a journey as the album plays.

On the 18th October 2024, single track "Coming Through" was released with a more accessible pop house sound. This is the most recent release from Myn:Zai.
