MYSTERIUM GRANDIS is an alternative independent (one-man) electronic music project, emerging from a previous project called GrandMystery AF. Songwriter & producer André Fokkema creates music in his own Audible Frequencies studio, all published by Grand Mystery Music.
In 2021 Grand Mystery Music released a CD with remnants from the GrandMystery AF-era entitled "Sign Of Life", containing 11 demotracks and sound-experiments that were all recorded some 20 years earlier.
In 2024 Mysterium Grandis was launched with a mini-album called "Creation Of The Veil", containing instrumental tracks with sampled dialogue evolving around the theme of NDE's (Near-Death Experiences), Afterlife and Creation (of Souls as well the creation of The Universe).
In 2025 new work is released, this time with vocals. The lyrics of the songs are about a variety of themes, written from a Christian perspective.
The music can best be described as electronic pop/rock with a blend of Synthwave.
