The Mystical Powa project was born in the Suessola Valley (Caserta) in July 2006 from a shared inspiration between founders Marco Zion and Marco Isla. Through their musical selections and productions, the group has dedicated itself to spreading a message of peace, love, and denouncing the abuses of the "Babylon System."
In 2011, they founded their independent label called "Mystical Records," which has produced and promoted numerous artists from the Roots/Dub scene, including King General, Danny Red, Nish Wadada, Kibir La Amlak, Prince Alla, Idren Natural, Sista Awa, Dub Judah, and many others.
Since 2018, Mystical Powa's productions have been released on various international labels such as 4Weed, Capra Records, Tribe84, and Roots Youth Records.
Their musical selection ranges from 1970s and 1980s Roots/Reggae to more recent UK Stepper sounds, characterized by a significant presence of dubplates and self-produced tracks in the Mystical Studio.
Over the years, Mystical Powa has brought their music to various clubs and festivals in Europe, including the International Dub Gathering in Spain, Rototom Sunsplash, Zion Station, Dubstone, Rockers Calore, and Escape the City Festival in Croatia. They have shared the control tower with some of the most renowned international artists in the Roots/Dub scene, including Aba Shanti, Vibronics, Dub Judah, Blackboard Jungle, Moa Anbessa, Chazbo, and many others.
