mystify587

An underground melodic trap visionary turned neo‑psychedelic one‑man band, mystify587 is the genre‑fluid project of Latvian creator Vlad Cubrovs - a 20 year old solo producer, songwriter and audio engineer based in the UK who has steadily shaped his sound since his 2020 debut Reckless & Teenage.

From early emo‑rap singles like Mental!, to breakthrough tracks AERIAL! and manifest, mystify587 continues to evolve as an artist by delving into the worlds of alternative pop and rock music.

The latest full-length LP Carousel Dreams was carefully crafted and conceptualised following the emotional aftermath that closed off 2024’s Reckless & Teenage 2. The new project explores themes of transformation and self-discovery, making the album a quintessential release and marking an undeniably pivotal moment in mystify587’s artistic trajectory.

Throughout the adventurous album, layered synths, subdued guitars, hypnagogic rhythms and washed-out vocals work hand in hand to translate deeply personal experiences into audio from the soul.

Left completely in awe after discovering Tame Impala’s album Lonerism during the album’s creation, it quickly became his muse, indelibly shaping his creative vision, due to its blend of abstract production and painfully honest yet beautiful songwriting, which deeply spoke to him.

Embracing full creative control going forward, mystify587 positions himself as a sonic architect, writing music that is both a personal manifesto and a product of his psyche.
