Chaison Gordon, known professionally as Myze, is an American rapper, record produced singer, songwriter, & audio engineer from Chattanooga, TN. As a multi-dimensional artist, his style of music flows between genres such as Hip-Hop, Dance, Pop, R&B, and others.
At an early age, he was raised in a Christian family, surrounded by gospel music, but was quickly drawn to the likes of Aaliyah, Maxwell, Timbaland, Gucci Mane, & more. Music creation was not his forte as he was raised in a family of successful athletes. In 2006, Myze began to write raps of his own.
In 2013, FL Studio came into his life, in which was his first encounter with dabbling into music production. Shortly after spending the next few years honing the craft, Myze released his first project, “Please, Don’t Listen” which caused people to ponder on the title choice, ultimately leading them to listen.
Following suit in 2016, he began to gain recognition following the release of his second EP, “Almost Impossible”.
Myze decided to take a hiatus from the music scene to focus in on a new direction of sound, as he later released “For More Than Mortals”, being a project he quotes “a listening experience I created for myself personally but decided to share with the ones who connect with my stories.”
