n808 (pronounced nate oh eight) is a DJ and producer based in San Francisco. He got into music at a young age playing violin with his dad’s mariachi band. Now he makes all sorts of house and techno music, with a distinct sound. He has released tracks on Dirtybird, Relief, Aliens On Mushrooms, EMPIRE, Trippy Ass Techno, Desert Hearts, House of Hustle, and My Techno Weighs A Ton. The only constant in his production style is a rotund low end and usually some absolutely out of left field vocals.
