Equal parts guitar and vocal driven, sonically and structurally diverse, Nad Navillus is the music of Chicago resident Dan Sullivan.
With a focus on skillful and innovative ensemble playing, the latest album of instrumentals "Upper Constant" proceeds 2023's "Forgotten Portraits" and two releases on Jagjaguwar: "Show Your Face" and "Iron Night". In addition to being a founding member of concept album oriented art-Metal ensemble Arriver, Sullivan was a member of Jason Molina's Songs: Ohia, playing on "Magnolia Electric Company", "Mi Sei Apparso Come Un Fantasma" and "Live: Vanquishers" as well as Glen Hansard's tribute to Molina "It Was Triumph We Once Proposed".
Notably, Sullivan plays electric guitars he built and owns custom fabrication business Navillus Woodworks, whose in-house designed furniture can be seen on hit series The Bear.
