Nadia Sahlin

Swedish Nadia has been active as artist since 2013, when an early demo of hers was first discovered. Two years later, she released her pop hit 'Underneath and In Between', which became Nadia's first hit on Spotify and picked up in radio:

Nadia has performed at festivals such as Musikens Makt, Kulturnatten and Luleå Hamnfestival as well as various stages, among others Kaleido, Havremagasinet and Ebeneser. In 2017, Nadia decided to take a time-out and move abroad to England with her travel-guitar as only company, something that gave her perspective on life and later came to influence her music. After a three-year break Nadia returned to Sweden and in 2021 released the songs 'På väg', 'A Bear and A Bird' and 'Alla på rad', which she had already written many years before they were released.

Today Nadia writes songs in several different languages apart from English and Swedish, such as Persian and Spanish. Nadia’s texts often portray the unequal world we find ourselves in and dreams about a day when we will find common ground. “The more people and cultures I have encountered, the more texts I have written. The meetings have made me understand how time affects us all so differently. We all live in the same world, but in different times”.
