Naimah is a singer- songwriter born in Zambia and based in South Africa. Her African influence reflects in how she creatively fuses genres like afrobeats with pop, dancehall, R&B and hip hop to making and DJ’ing Deep House music. Naimah’s early collaborations with the likes of DJ Ganyani, Beenie Man, Jahrimba, The Godfather’s of Deep House, Fifi Cooper, Roberto among others show Naimah’s genre bending abilities. Releasing her debut EP in 2022, titled, Goal Digger, Naimah’s 6 track collaborative project features established and upcoming artists in Southern Africa. It fuses R&B, and Hip Hop on songs like “Focused”, “Off My Mind” and Afropop with R&B and Pop on songs like “Uthando Lwakho”, “Live your Life”, “Pretty Savage” and “Apart”. Naimah’s music is inspired by life, love and hard work. As an independent, Naimah is not only setting herself apart as an artist who is crossing borders with her music Naimah runs her own record label , New future records.
