Naive Set

Naive Set is an Amsterdam-based band that takes a loose approach to detailed guitar pop, making songs both easy on the ears and pleasing on repeat. In their three previous full lengths, the band weaved together hazy and wavy with bright and shiny, channeling guitar-pop classics without being defined by them.

Dubbed “carefree, sparkling indiepop,” by the Volkskrant and “classic-indie artisans” by MOJO, Naive Set has returned with a 4-song EP, Soft on Terror and a fuller, richer sound than ever.

The EP was recorded in Amsterdam, then mixed and mastered in Melbourne by Mikey Young, the Australian producer of bands like <a href="spotify:artist:25EoR5bxufGZD3RYMSTpV9" data-name="Dick Diver">Dick Diver</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5vjPLkDLdB76i8EO1PFOT6" data-name="Total Control">Total Control</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:4vkIW79PRnJM8PNylIMTQB" data-name="Twerps">Twerps</a>. Arie van Vliet of the Rotterdam-band <a href="spotify:artist:49q3PS0SzgbyvWDwZj7qg5" data-name="Lewsberg">Lewsberg</a> is also present on these tracks, adding dry, melodious guitars.
