Najet Ounis is a singer-songwriter and producer from Tunisia. She began her music career in 2009, performing covers on local stages. Her voice soon caught the attention of the media, leading to several national hits and earning her a contract with Universal Music France in 2016, under which she released two albums.
The 2020 lockdown gave Najet the space to explore her songwriting skill and share more of her authentic ideas with her social media community. Seeking more creative freedom than the label allowed, she chose to go independent the following year.
In 2024, Najet returns with her first independent project, Alternative R&B songs in Tunisian dialect, hoping to pioneer this genre in her region.
