Naji

Naji is an American singer/songwriter, drummer, producer, and mix engineer.

While initially starting his musical career solely as a drummer, &#34;a dream about a potato&#34; in early 2015 brought a swift change of direction, and subsequently, his first single, &#34;<a href="spotify:album:7FG66rmfVDX38gJVFq4lLg" data-name="Baked Potatoes">Baked Potatoes</a>&#34; as the solo vocalist and producer. The single was surprisingly well received, and gave Naji enough momentum to develop a more matured and contemplative singing/writing style.

Then, at the beginning of 2016, Naji released a startlingly complex, yet demure and intimate single, &#34;<a href="spotify:album:3pQrLqdMq3lXox7p9Hvyhe" data-name="Fallen">Fallen</a>&#34; with producer <a href="spotify:artist:733W9KTiraPrq2Ukfz5UJs" data-name="Glasstempo">Glasstempo</a>. This caught the attention of notable platforms &amp; labels (Majestic Casual, Soulection, Lyrical Lemonade, Pigeons and Planes) and shot Naji to the forefront of Indie R&amp;B.

Throughout 2016-2018, Naji released 50&#43; collaborative projects, including his most notable single &#34;<a href="spotify:album:0OBvxoP9XHyFPvTolLDLEa" data-name="Mona Lisa">Mona Lisa</a>&#34; with Grammy-nominated producer <a href="spotify:artist:4p75GTNEXwsAAkpweMVtKo" data-name="monte booker">monte booker</a>, his debut album, &#34;<a href="spotify:album:5JlMhHB0sgTGDhb3j6rUN1" data-name="Misfit">Misfit</a>&#34;, and in collaboration with Splice, a live-drum sample pack, &#34;Mr. Drummer Boy&#34;, which has been utilized and praised by top artists/producers like <a href="spotify:artist:4fxd5Ee7UefO4CUXgwJ7IP" data-name="GIVĒON">GIVĒON</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2feDdbD5araYcm6JhFHHw7" data-name="Labrinth">Labrinth</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6U3ybJ9UHNKEdsH7ktGBZ7" data-name="JID">JID</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1rHOtdmGNr5vcYNw5v7QGC" data-name="Kenny Beats">Kenny Beats</a>, D-Mile, <a href="spotify:artist:3eCd0TZrBPm2n9cDG6yWfF" data-name="DEAN">DEAN</a> &#43; more.

From 2019-2023, Naji went on hiatus, releasing only a handful of singles, with intent to rebrand and recalibrate his sound and vision.

Now, with his own projects and production contributions having tallied up more than 1 Billion streams, Naji is currently working on his follow up projects.
