Inspired by R&B icons like Aaliyah, Brandy and India Arie, Bay Area native Najja Iman makes chill R&B for the soul. Releasing her first single "Crush" in January 2020, Najja swooned listeners with her calm, yet mesmerizing voice. A few months later, she released her first demo "These Aren't Love Songs," which took listeners on a journey of her past relationships. She solidified her sound with "Do U Wrong," a gloomy ballad inspired by Lil Jon's "Lovers & Friends," reflecting on old flings and their disloyalty. In 2023, Najja dedicated her life and music to God, merging spirituality with her artistry. Through her journey of faith, she aims to inspire others with her heartfelt stories of love, loss and healing.
