NAKED RIVER is born out of all places in the City of Guadalajara, México, when Christian Iván Pérez decides to pick up a guitar and start singing to pass the time between classes in Film School, and much influenced by the production efforts of Ty Segall and every other current artist on the DIY route, jumps in the studio and lays down drums, guitars and vocals, and with the help of long-time friend Dominic Sena (former Adam And The Plastic, currently Mr. Hymn) lays down bass tracks of what became the first album of Naked River (Self-Titled).
The 2nd album (referred to as NR2) saw the light on January 2020 with the single and music video "White Mike's Fuzz Voyage" followed by "Con el Diablo Adentro" on April that same year. The project is currently in an indefinite hiatus. Thanks to those that still listen to us and buy our merch, we hope to release the remaining songs off NR2 soon enough, each as a single with its own music video.
