NAMSAYN is a Korean-Canadian rapper and singer-songwriter based in London, United Kingdom. From aggressive trap to uplifting vocals, he quickly established himself as a versatile player and describes his sounds as ‘nostalgia-inspired’ feelings.
NAMSAYN released his first EP <a href="spotify:album:5vpkWmdvQPdREYF1PvPq4E" data-name="118 Yalreadykno">118 Yalreadykno</a> in 2019, which delves into the Korean underground hip-hop sound. A year later, he released his second EP <a href="spotify:album:3LHUqmwcXbA6OrGkm9rbSy" data-name="something to look forward to">something to look forward to</a> in 2020. Blending elements of R&B and mellow guitar riffs with harmonic layers, the EP brings out a softer side of the artist.
In 2022, NAMSAYN released his debut full-length album <a href="spotify:album:2iDYFeZFDGn8hj1WCtkYgz" data-name="would you have known?">would you have known?</a>, consisting of 12 songs. The rapper <a href="spotify:artist:1MMbv4LTpwbh2APtXuwaZN" data-name="ZENE THE ZILLA">ZENE THE ZILLA</a> also featured in one of the tracks. In 2024, NAMSAYN co-founded <a href="spotify:artist:5QaxOWrVzg53QVxBe61AHF" data-name="ARETĖ">ARETĖ</a>, a Korean hip-hop music collective, and aspires to bring a fresh breeze to the European music scene.
