Nancy Wenstrom

My name is Nancy Wenstrom and I’m a San Francisco based singer, lead guitarist, songwriter and recording artist in the genres of rock, blues, jazz and country.

I was born in Houston, Texas and grew up as an Air Force brat living all over the USA. I’ve played in numerous SF Bay Area bands and recorded 9 albums on my Indie label WCM records. As the lead guitarist for the Zasu Pitts Memorial Orchestra, (a premier 14-piece SF rhythm and blues tribute band) I’ve toured and also backed many talented and well-known San Francisco artists.

My newest album, The Tommie Tapes, is a 40th Anniversary first issue release consisting of 19 of my original songs I recorded in two sessions with my band at the time in 1984 & 1985. I had to digitize the music from the original tape format. I had this done at Skywalker Sound in Marin county CA by the best in the industry. It’s a bucket list thing I’ve wanted to do for years and I’m so happy to finally present it. I hope you enjoy listening to this throwback music from the 1980s. It’s been a very nostalgic and fun project for me to complete.
