At just 19 years old, <a href="spotify:artist:0kQdIDMv548GlbcNfKqqIx" data-name="NANI">NANI</a> is making waves in the melodic rap scene with unique cadence and lyricsm aimed at redefining the genre. Drawing inspiration from <a href="spotify:artist:0gg11prPP6OqtUvBcKnPpq" data-name="Rylo Rodriguez">Rylo Rodriguez</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:3uJx5SnOM59Li7lCxA3b29" data-name="Lil Keed">Lil Keed</a>, NANI has crafted a sound simple enough to be enjoyed by many while still maintaining individuality. Despite coming from Toronto, NANI takes inspiration from Atlanta based artists like <a href="spotify:artist:50co4Is1HCEo8bhOyUWKpn" data-name="Young Thug">Young Thug</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2hlmm7s2ICUX0LVIhVFlZQ" data-name="Gunna">Gunna</a>, admiring their simplicity.

With his ear-catching one liners and adlibbed vocal runs, NANI quickly developed a community on TikTok amassing over 100k followers in one year&#39;s time. Mesmerized by the unique lyrics and unorthodox song structure, fans quickly migrated towards <a href="spotify:album:2PrF8d2PaDvt0s18oaNfkw" data-name="SHENANIGANS">SHENANIGANS</a> after a clip of the songs opening line &#34;Feeling transgender because I had to cut off some pussies to go get a sack&#34; went viral.
Fast forward to 2023 and NANI&#39;s hot streak has continued, releasing a 2 song EP titled <a href="spotify:album:73HTwOQoMnkUb4FWU752i7" data-name="SACKRELIGIOUS">SACKRELIGIOUS</a>.

While always having a passion for music, It wasn&#39;t until a mutual friend connected NANI with OVO signed artist <a href="spotify:artist:7mDU6nMUJnOSY2Hkjz5oqM" data-name="Roy Woods">Roy Woods</a> and his manager at a birthday party, where NANI showed them his demo tapes. Roy Woods enjoyed the tracks, and harshly told NANI to either take music promotion seriously or stop wasting his time.

NANI has since performed his first shows, selling out the WC Social Club in Chicago. NANI has been featured on CNN for his historical raps posted to TikTok (&#64;nani2neat) While impressive, NANI insists his best work is yet to come.
