Nanor is a rookie, independent artist in the music industry. She started songwriting since 2011, when she was only 10. Influenced by some of the best songwriters of the industry, it was important for her to achieve a certain level of quality to introduce herself to the public. Being a Tchaikovsky music school alumni in vocal and vocal coaching and conducting helped her in that pathway.
"You can't be the best in something, but you need to have something different, something unique that world hasn't seen yet" - these are words that shape Nanor as an artist. 'I know I'm not the best, but I know I have something to tell to the world'.
Being raised in an Armenian household, she was connected to her roots since early childhood. Her father was always supportive of her as art was something important for him as well. Being a theatrical director himself, he never saw art as only a form of hobby, something you do from a side. 'It is something that creates, shapes and develops cultures and that's the most important achievement of the humanity' - he would say.
Nanor grew up with this idea and is the continuation of this ideology. Experimenting with different forms of art herself (fine arts, photography, videography) she finds ideas to input in music.
'I grew up listening to music in a bus, completely broken as a teenager with my own teenage problems. Now I want others who have the same mental state and reality to find a sense of reliability and comfort in my songs. - she would add.
