BBCニュースで『イギリスで最も有名な日本人シンガー』と紹介される。
2012年 『AJ Unity』名でリリースされた『Sweet Roses』の中の「Jupiter」が全米ラジオチャート１４位を記録。全世界１４００のラジオ局の投票（King of spins) では３週間連続で１位を獲得。 過去イギリスダンチャート12位にランクインするなどこれらの活動は欧米で話題になり、今なお世界へのチャレンジを続けている。
2011年東日本大震災当初、自身が病と戦う中、「ナオミさんの音楽で被災地を救って下さい」というメーッセージを受け、復興支援ソングを制作。以降、「音楽で生きる力」をテーマに、数々の復興支援ソングを発表。のべ１００回以上被災地に足を運び、施設訪問などを中心に音楽通じた支援活動を現在も続けている。英国国会議事堂で開催された東日本大震災メモリアルコンサートでは、日本人初のシンガー出演として日本の各メディアで報道される。その後の熊本地震、九州北部豪雨など災害発生の度に精力的にチャリティーコンサートを開催、全額寄付を続けている。

世界の音楽の中心地イギリスから世界へ日本の音楽、特に歌謡曲を発信するプロジェクトを多くプロデュースしCITY POP を世界に広げている。
