Naomi is the offshoot of a dreamer, conjuring melodies through the guitar and weaving them into songs that blur the lines between genres. Her journey began with Mosquito Coast, the indie pop project that won triple j Unearthed High in 2015, launching her onto national stages. With that momentum, Naomi toured Australia extensively, headlining seven national tours and building a reputation as a compelling live performer. She later co-founded Special Feelings, a dream-pop and jazz duo known for its lush arrangements and improvisational edge. The project saw her featured on rhythm sections and celebrated for her ability to fuse groove-driven sensibilities with atmospheric textures.
Naomi’s guitar craft was honed through formal study at the University of Melbourne, where she earned a Bachelor of Classical Guitar.
Now, Naomi is stepping into her own. This latest venture is her boldest yet. Melding the lushness of jazz harmony, the structure of classical influence, and the immediacy of pop hooks.
