Naone hails from Seoul, South Korea, but has been based in Amsterdam since 2020 with a single mission: to carve out her niche as an artist. Her sound is deeply influenced by the timeless gems of the '90s and early '00s.
After being a strong figure in the local scene in Seoul, it didn’t take long for her to get picked up by the scene in the Dutch capital. She quickly became a regular at places like Garage Noord, the now closed clubs De School and Nano, illegal rave collective noclubs and the local powerhouse, Dekmantel.
With solid backing from the Amsterdam scene, her recognition expands all over – showcasing her dedication to groove at top tier venues in Berlin, London, New York, Tokyo or at various festivals throughout Europe.
As a producer Naone is solidifying herself more and more – with 3 solo EPs behind her name and a collaborative project together with her long time friend S.O.N.S. Having released on various labels such as DJ Haus’ UTTU, Warning and soon on Safe Trip, she recently launched the down2earth label together together with fellow artist and partner in crime, denial. It is there where Naone showcases her broad perspective on electronic music, without losing focus. Whether it is ambient textures, acid baselines, dubbed out elements or solid percussion – it is music to dance to.
