Formed in Manchester 2018 by Daniel Brown, Matt Casey, Ethan Van Sheehan and Harry Catchpole. NARA went into Manchester's rehearsal rooms with a mission toward integrity and earnestness
NARA's introduction came with their debut single "Fashion". Recorded at The Nave studios, with an indie-dance groove and bombastic attitude that would move any sticky-floored venue crowd in the city. They then followed this up with "Up The Walls" (April 2022), with a decisively grittier, relentless energy that resonated with Manchester's vibrant and exciting post-Punk scene. Shedding the innocence of their debut and showing they are a band not afraid of change and experimentation.
Following on from a stint of exciting live performances including a sold out headline show at the iconic Deaf Institute. NARA released "Let The Light In". Combining the pop-ism's from "Fashion" and the energy from Up The Walls. The band took it back to basics and wrapped up the poles of their sound with a new sense of maturity, self-awareness and emphasis on aesthetic.
January 2023 will see the release of the band's most honest and exciting effort yet: 'Me!'. chronicling the singer's concurrent issues with addiction and an abusive relationship, the song details the frustration, vulnerability and raw emotion of early adulthood setting a clear precedent of sincerity for the future.
