The Norwegian roots/folk trio Narum made their debut in 2009 with the album «Samma hen du fær» which reached top five in the charts, heavy rotation on Norwegian national radio and two nominations to The Norwegian Grammy Award (Spellemannsprisen). The siblings Benedikte Narum Jenssen (vocals), Jon Anders Narum (guitars) and Lars Christian Narum (organ, piano) followed up with «Ælt som var søkk borte» in 2010 which received The Norwegian Grammy Award.
Narum's blend of American roots and folk inspired music with lyrics written in the dialect from the countryside district where they were born and still live, gives the trio an unmistakable signature acclaimed by critics and followers. After four albums on major label Warner Music, Narum signed with Drabant Music and their fifth album is expected in the fall of 2020.
