Soothing the soul with a dreamy, atmospheric, artistic vibe for the thoughtful listener...
Taking inspiration from confessional art-rock, trip-hop, and film soundtracks, California native Natasha Jane Julian creates moody yet melodic Pop songs. Think of a hybrid of Lana Del Rey, Coldplay, Kate Bush, and Sia .
The lyrical content of her music is that of substance and sophistication writing songs with provocative, thoughtful lyrics as she exposes the holes in humanity in a beautiful, and sometimes haunting way. Natasha's signature style of haunting, melodic, and atmospherically inclined vocals always have the heart in mind.
After the release of her EP 'ANGEL' which was a collaboration with grammy award winning producer Dom Morley, she came back in 2020 with a string of singles including her “brilliantly evocative & colorful expressive variation of “Summertime Sadness” .
The journey towards Natasha’s debut full-length album “Beauty That Lies” is here after three years in the making. The first single from the project Pink Roses, was a poetic tale and immaculately atmospheric single followed by Singing in the Rain and "Devil Eyes" , an organically inclined electronic pop song screaming with artistic integrity. “Take Me to Paradise” the latest single from the project, reflects Natasha’s knack for crafting music that’s both deeply personal and widely resonant. It’s a track that combines her sultry smooth vocals, soulful lyrics, and cinematic production.
