Nathan Fender, an emerging talent in country music from a small town in Virginia, first gained attention with his bluegrass band, "Pico Road," which secured 5th place at the 86th annual Galax Fiddlers Convention. Despite his success in bluegrass, Nathan's true passion was country music. In late 2022, he made a genre shift and proceeded to release several singles throughout 2023. That paved the way for his debut album, Barbed Wire Heart (The Album), which dropped on May 3, 2024.
Not only did Nathan write and sing the tracks, but he also played eight instruments and produced the album entirely himself—gaining the attention of a producer in Tennessee. Now collaborating with a team in Chattanooga, Nathan is working tirelessly to develop and perfect his unique sound in preparation for upcoming releases.
Beyond his musical endeavors, Nathan is a true country boy, working on his family farm and embracing the values and traditions that shape his music. On weekends, he often plays local gigs and leads worship at his home church, frequently with his grandfather. His down-to-earth nature, strong work ethic, and passion for his craft makes Nathan Fender an artist to keep an eye on in country music scene.
