I started playing the piano when I was 14 years old. I was watching a PBS special showing a pianist playing Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, I said to myself I am going to play the piano like that someday, and I did. I learned how to play excerpts from that piece for a recital when I was in high-school. I also entered a school-wide talent show and played a song on my current album the ultimate collection vol. 1 Little Ballerina a song I wrote for and about my wife who is in a wheelchair.
