The band was founded a duo between vocalist and guitarist Artsiom and singer and songwriter Ksienija Lukjanienka, later also featured multi-instrumentalist Aliaksandr Tabolski.
NaviBand represented Belarus at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv with the song Story Of My Life. The band rose to fame with a primarily Belarusian-language repertoire.
After the political protests of 2020 they were banned in Belarus and were forced to leave the country.
